| Unit Meetings |

| In the winter months, when Shabbat ends early, youngsters meet each Saturday night in small groups of seven or eight under the supervision of a head counselor for a Chassidishe Farbrengen. Each child has a special role to play. The Unit Leader arranges the meeting. The Computer Clerk prepares and distributes an invitation. The Gamester opens the meeting with an exciting game or two, then the Choizer presents selected parts of a Sichos (lesson from the Lubavitcher Rebbe) that describe the responsibility of being a “soldier” in the Army of Hashem. Snacks are served while the Storyteller tells a dramatic Chassidic story. Next the Baal Menaggen teaches the weekly Niggun (melody), and the Project Coordinator discusses the current project. To help the chayolim prepare Tzivos Hashem has developed a series of handbooks, one for each chayol of the unit. |
